My Road Trips & Solo Travelling
I don’t travel 24/7 nor do I work remotely, I have a full time job, this blog is just for fun and to hopefully connect with fellow travellers and like minded people! I have visited 56 countries in my life – so far – and I hope to visit many more! My road trips and holidays have all been fitted around my full time job or taken when I was a child / teenager! I’ve travelled with friends, as a couple, with my family and on my own! My aim for this section is to connect through my own experiences and inspire!

My Road Trips
Since 2006 I’ve taken 11 Road Trips;
- 1 on my own – South America
- 3 with friends – France, Mini Round the World trip, Carribean
- 2 with previous partners – New Zealand & Spain
- 5 with Joe – USA x4 & UK
Here, I go into the detail on the places I have visited and the itineraries in the hope it can give some helpful inspiration incase you are stuck choosing where to go!
Solo Travelling
There’s a lot of stigma around travelling solo and I’m here for all the talk about it! I’ve taken 3 solo trips in my life:
- Chicago for 1 week (Holiday)
- Costa Rica for 5 weeks (Volunteering)
- South America for 3 weeks (Road Trip)
All of these trips impacted me in one way or another! Are you thinking about travelling solo?
Organised Group Trips
I’ve taken 2 organised group trips:
- Trekked to Everest Base Camp, Himalayas with a friend
- The South America Road Trip
They were both incredible experiences. I think a lot of people worry about an organised trip so here you will find all my information and experiences, just incase you are wondering whether to go!
